Thousand Blades: Glimmer In The Dark

The Empire never died, it simply took on the skin of the Federation. When humankind's lofty ideals begin to serve the old system, the revolution has failed. This is a dark dystopia, the story of a group of gambling dogs who defy the night and gouge out the light.
Our protagonist, Valka Xueying, a poor amnesiac, the fourth executive officer of the institute, she is the blade of the Federation. She also believed that there was beauty in the world; but when the flames of revenge raised new tyrants, and the oppressed became the new oppressors, she gradually woke up. The empire never died, it just changed its decent skin. She also had to know clearly, was she the night watchman of the old era, or was she the last knife to stab it?
Xueying’s companion, Cecilia, has the power to destroy everything, but she is as humble as dust in front of Xueying. There was a past between them that Xueying had forgotten, but that made Cecilia weep.
This has never been a beautiful story. It is extremely dark and depressing. It never praises heroes. It is just a group of people who refuse to admit defeat and rebuild hope in the ruins of the failed revolution.
